The Ridgeway National Trail
Britain’s oldest road, The Ridgeway National Trail has been used over the centuries by soldiers, herdsmen and travellers. This long distance walk follows the chalk ridges of the North Wessex Downs and Chilterns but there are also circular walks based on the Ridgeway which start near The Peacock.

The Phoenix Trail
A seven mile flat route between Princes Risborough and Thame. You can join the Phoenix Trail by walking directly from the Peacock and following a bridleway which meets it half way along.
