The Peacock Country Inn was nurtured into its current form by Martin Roberts, who came across it whilst walking The Ridgeway in August 2004. 

The last few years have been spent completely refurbishing the 24 bedrooms, the bar and restaurant.

The team are delighted to welcome walkers, cyclists or anyone wishing to get away from it all to the heart of the beautiful Chilterns countryside.

The current owner Emma, since July 2023, continues to improve the hotel and restaurant, with the aim of opening a pizza and cocktail area in Summer 2024.
