Chinnor Steam Railway (10 minutes via car)

For steam train lovers, the Chinnor Steam Railway is a must visit. The line currently runs over a 3 ½ mile stretch along the foot of the Chiltern Hills and enjoys some outstanding views. In addition to the standard timetable, the railway operates a number of special events including family attractions.


Swan at Tetsworth (15 minutes via car)

Housed in a historic Grade II Elizabethan Coaching Inn, The Swan represents over 80 antique dealers in 40 showrooms with a wonderful selection of furniture, jewellery, textiles and many other collectable antiques.


Waddesdon Manor (35 minutes by car)

Built by the Rothschild family in the 19th century, Waddesdon Manor is a magnificent house and grounds in the style of a French chateau; it also has a lovely woodland play area for children.
