Located in the South of England, the path is an ancient chalk ridge route that has been in use for over 4,000 years. It was said to be Britain’s oldest road, taking people 87 miles from Avebury in Wiltshire, to Ivanhoe Beacon on the Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire border.
